Capturing the Rainbow: Pride Weekend 2023 in Waterford

A great weekend in Waterford! Our city was bursting at the seams with all the colours of the rainbow, a true testament to our spirit of diversity and unity. The Pride launch at the Waterford Gallery of Art was a top-notch affair, setting the tone for a weekend of celebrations and love. This was no ordinary weekend, it was a grand expression of self-identity and freedom.🌈

A special mention goes to the Waterford Gallery of Art. The setting was just spot on for the Pride launch. The beautiful blend of classic art pieces and contemporary celebration created an atmosphere that really echoed our message of acceptance and love.

Then, of course, there was the Pride Parade! What a sight it was to see our beloved Waterford streets filled with joyous faces, flying rainbow flags, and an infectious energy. You could feel the sense of community, the laughter, the love – it was all there, making us proud of our city that truly welcomes everyone.

Pride Weekend 2023 was about more than a parade or a party. It was a reminder of how far we’ve come and the love that’s all around us. It was a celebration of our #deisepride.
