Went to see a french movie in the gallery. It was put on by the Waterford-St Herblain cultural and language exchange. The movie was "En Corps". Great venue surrounded by fabulous works of art. Fun and interesting movie too.
An astonishing spot with numerous art displayed to the audiences. I came across this place on a short visit. I enjoyed the art and the atmosphere here. The staff was lovely and helpful. In this location, they have large numbers of art displayed, and new art pieces will be displayed next April. Convenient for everyone particularly family, and friends. You can feel the difference between generations in each art here. There was a wonderful marble statue of a mother and a baby it was done in 1900.
WGOA is a wonderful art museum that I'd recommend visiting. I believe it often lives in Garter Lane's shadow as Garter Lane is just across the road but, in my opinion, I much prefer WGOA! The paintings in the place are wonderful and it's because of this art museum that I took up an interest in art. You should definitely visit this place! 🎨
Lovely gallery and the recent Waterford Designers & Makers exhibition was excellent and beautifully displayed
Today I and my fellow writers from the Tramore Writers Group visited the Gallery with the wonderful Luke -the curator as our guide. It was so enjoyable and we learned so much - well done to the crew in there - Liz Walsh
