What’s on in Waterford: 7 Events Not to Miss This Weekend…

First up—let’s meet on O’Connell Street at 10 a.m. on Saturday for the Cultural Quarter Markets. Bring the kids, because from 11 a.m. there will be activities to keep them entertained. Then at 8 p.m., Brand New Cadillac will be rocking the main stage for Summer in the City.    

Garter Lane welcomes comedian and cabaret actor Grzegorz Halama on Saturday at 7 p.m. Grzegorz is known for his quick wit, clever humour, and ability to connect with audiences through his performances. He is considered one of the most popular and talented comedians in Poland, and his work continues to entertain audiences both online and on stage.

Paddy Casey will be hitting the Churchyard Sessions stage in the heart of the Viking Triangle on Bailey’s New Street on Saturday. That kicks off at 6.30 p.m. with support act Sean Murphy (AKA Smurphy Sings) followed by the main event at 8 p.m.

The Vic in Tramore have music lined up for the weekend too, with DJ Noel Roach on Friday, The Suburbs on Saturday and 2Cents on Sunday.

On Sunday, the Haven Hotel in Dunmore welcomes the hugely popular Bagatelle to the stage at 7.30 p.m. The hotel is running free buses back into the city after the gig. Get your tickets for the show here.
