The Haven Hotel

The Haven Hotel has an evening Remembering Des Manahan this Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Des’s outstanding 60 years as a premier performer of both local and national theatre and as an entertainer, will be celebrated in his home town of Dunmore. This will be a great evening of song and nostalgia with Des’s many friends from Waterford Theatre. Get your tickets here. There will be free buses back to Waterford after the show.

The Vic in Tramore have music all weekend once again with DJ Jason Burns on Friday, Groove Republic on Saturday and Blueprint Duo on Sunday.

Red Lead Film present The Truth—a film about a young troubled woman called Aisling who lives in a small island community.

The Truth is the latest film from Red Lead Film Productions, a Waterford-based film-making group set up in 2014. It stars Clodagh Kenny, Louise Moore and Richie McGuire. It was directed by Philip Cullen. The cast and crew are Owen Griffin, Joe Hodgkins, Fillipe Lezo, John Kennedy, Dean Gallagher and Chris O’ Brien.

This film was supported by the WWETB, Garter Lane and GOMA. It was funded by SOLAS (MAED fund). Admission is free and the film will be shown on Saturday at 7 p.m. Book your ticket here to reserve your spot.
