Absolutely love this beach been going there since I was a child great place if you want to bring your kids and pets for peace and quite the Saratoga is a lovely pub all are welcome and the food is fabulous well worth a visit even if it's only for a stroll on the ⛱️
Large straight beach. There are picnic benches up by the bar. Also a bottle bank. Full of shells and some nice stones. And it is very very peaceful. Love it.
Was lovely only for tide was very far out and tide wadnt coming in till 10 pm .long wait for some water .but saying that it was nice to walk out to the sea. Had an enjoyable day
This is a very nice long stretch of sandy beach. On a sunny clear day, you can see land on the opposite side. This is an ideal location for a walk with dogs and also good location for families with children to play. It is located at a short distance from Waterford City.
One of the nicest beaches in Waterford for a walk. No stones as it's on the river rather than on the sea, this also means there are no waves so it's a great spot to introduce kids to the sea swimming. Only problem is that it's very shallow so when the tide is out it's a long walk to get to the water. Very popular for dog walking and people exercise their horses here as well. There is a pub called the Saratoga about halfway along the beach where you can get decent grub and a pint
