Telephoned a few days ago to make a booking and spoke to Stephanie who was delightful and said we could check in early if we arrived ahead of our expected time. Our room was facing the river so we had a great view. The bedroom was lovely. It was spacious, very clean, well furnished with tea/coffee facilities. There was also a big screen tv in the room. The bathroom was also spacious. Mary, on the front desk was great. She was so welcoming and had a great personality. Breakfast was amazing! Big portions and well presented, with everything you could possibly eat!! When we asked about checking out, Clodagh offered us a late check out as we wanted to go into town before we headed off home to Wicklow. I almost forgot to mention the good size swimming pool with steamroom and sauna. I can't say enough good things about our stay at Park Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. Well done to all the amazing staff! I hope to return one day soon!

I loved staying here and would highly recommend anyone visiting Dungarvan to stay at this hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are second to none. I had a lovely lady maybe housemaids manager knock on the door taking the time to ask me if everything was ok for us in our room. I just thought that was lovely. A lot of places I haven't experienced that. We had our breakfasts in our room on both mornings beautifully presented, and again the staff were lovely and cheerful with warm smiles. Again genuine care for guests. Top marks to the chef's who work here for the delicious food and presentation of same. Reception staff are absolutely wonderful, again extremely friendly and down to earth, genuinely interested in their guests stay at the hotel. Met a lovely lady at reception this morning when I was leaving and she couldn't have been nicer in her manner. Very natural and professional at the same time. I don't see this often so I have to say, this hotel in particular have very genuine caring staff. It's what makes the difference I believe in providing guests with a very home from home stay. The hotel is beautiful but I definitely think the staff make it, so thank you all for making our stay a pleasure. We will be returning no doubt about that.

Really enjoyed our time here. Excellent location and hotel was spotless. staff were professional and really friendly and the food was lovely ( and here comes the) but..... Mattress was far too soft for our liking so we never really got a good night sleep any night compared to what we are used to. Do the mattress need an upgrade or are they just soft??? We absolutely would return based on maybe the next visit the mattress is more to our liking.

Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends. Allocated a triple room with 3 beds, which was great as I have found most hotels have a double and single in "triple" room. Staff are lovely. Dinner in the bar was really good with great options on the set menu. Very nice swimming pool. Breakfast was initially chaotic, we followed a sign in hotel lobby and went into a very noisy, busy room: people darting about everywhere, no queueing, no bowls or spoons etc, and no staff in the room to ask for anything. We then realized we were in a dining room with a large tour group. We eventually found the correct dining room where thankfully peace reigned! Again, food was good with lots of choice and staff helpful. Better signposting for breakfast (and possibly more staff in the tour group diningroom!)would be very useful. Thanks for a lovely stay which was great value too!

We had a family meeting / catch up here recently and we all said the same things afterwards. Perfect location just very slightly outside the town(5-7min casual walk). The staff are fantastic, very friendly and polite. The food we were served was absolutely delicious, from focaccia bread to a very fine steak it certainly caters for all tastes and we all agreed the pricing was reasonable considering it’s a hotel.
