Revolution Craft Beer & Whiskey Bar Reviews

  • Brilliant pub to pop into if your around Waterford and want an honest chat a drink, great atmosphere and brilliant food options. There is no better place in Waterford for craft brew options and whiskey options it has an array of options for beverages. The selection is the best in Waterford, the owner who is a great person to chat to and in general recommends the best options he does his best to talk through what you are looking for and what new drink options are available to try out. The food is also fantastic never disappoints. I would recommend this great bar to everyone along with its great music.

  • Fish and chips although good, not up some we have had in Ireland but by no means the worst. The beers on the other hand were brilliant and as for the whiskey collection - unbelievable!! Now the big question was whether Dan behind the bar had kissed the Blarney Stone or whether he did have extensive knowledge of both beers and some of the whiskeys? We think the latter as he readily admitted that he had not tried all the whiskeys which was not surprising as the price ranged from €6 to €5000 a shot!!! Great time and thank you.

  • Since my original review, I would say it's a disaster. It must have been a lucky visit first time. Last 2 times I've been given awful pints. The beer lines were certainly not maintained and I could say the last visit was the worst pint I've been given in any pub for as long as I can remember. Staff good but that's not enough. Give it a miss.

  • Stopped in to this pub, not realising it was a whiskey bar. They had a very good selection of craft whiskies as well as most popular brands. I was surprised at their bourbon selection, and sipped on a Rip Van Winkle (amongst others). I tried a few cask strength (67%) Irish whiskies but opted against the €5,000.00 shot, for now. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing some of their finer offerings. Definetly a night to remember, if I can. We had a lot of whiskey. Check out their million € whiskey wall.

  • Wow! My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before we headed to cork and we were beyond thrilled that we did. We did not expect it, but the best fish and chips we had the whole trip was right here! We had wings as well, those were good, but the fish is what stole the show! Make this stop!
