Portree House

Mac n cheese was lumpy & grainy. 4 people & nobody liked the salsa. Fried ice cream was a crepe with ice cream in the middle. At €7.50, I think it's overpriced.

Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms. Shampoo and soap was ready for us. We've been able to walk to the town center and Waterford Crystal in ~10-15 minutes. Only critique - the pillows are not very comfortable.

Easy place to walk to, greeted by the very friendly owner and given a nice clean room. Good price and extra use of the sharing living room, garden and kitchen. Very quiet, no noise outside or next door. Perfect for a night stay

The guesthouse is perfect for a short stay in waterford. The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff is super nice and helpful and the breakfast is also very tasty. They even allowed us to leave our backpack in the Hotel after we checked out. We felt very comfortable at any time.

We were struggling to find a last minute hotel in Waterford that would accomodate our dog and were lucky to stumble across the Portree Guesthouse. Our double room was lovely and clean, the only negative was the water pressure in the shower. The service was five star. Staff were all friendly, especially the man (sorry to not get his name) who prepared and served our breakfast which was delicious and one of the best we’ve had on our trip.
