My favorite surprise of a great trip to Ireland! We stopped in after a walking tour on a Saturday evening, that’s when the musicians started arriving in singles and pairs.

Most perfect bar in Waterford city. The atmosphere is just phenomenal any evening I visited. John behind the bar, and all staff are nothing but banter, good time people with belting banter, what you hope to expect from a traditional Irish bar! I can safely say you could make this a home to go too not just a bar! Thank you Katty Barry’s!

Place to be, nice drinks, perfect service. Not sports bar, cultural activities frequently, live music.

We had a great time at this pub. John the bartender gave us great service and the atmosphere was excellent. Met a few very friendly locals there and really enjoyed the experience.
