Dungarvan Castle Reviews

Reviews

  • There isn't much to do here at the moment as the interior part is closed to visitors. The castle itself is in excellent condition, very well restored and is a lovely example of buildings from that time period. You can pay right across the road. There is a lovely pop up picnic area beside the castle with lots of tables and a memorial wall to those lost in the war just behind.

  • A beautiful town compact and scenic. Full of welcoming people. Notable for excellent food and drink.

  • Nice castle but couldn't go into any rooms or buildings due to covid restrictions but hopefully we will get to call when we visit again
