What a deliciously eclectic place! On Barronstrand St. just upstream from the old Clock Tower. The best desserts and coffees you’ll taste anywhere can be found in this dessert haven! There are many surprises in this, the oldest city in Ireland established nearly 1000 years ago by the mighty Vikings! The staff is the friendliest you’ll encounter and the owner has a terrific sense of humour! Ask him to deliver to your home…You may savour your delight outside in the courtyard right in front of a grand church or inside next to the display area. Very reasonable prices and quality is sublime! Carters… at The Stable Yard! Great place! Grand people! Sound as the Irish say!
We popped in for a coffee while waiting for our bus. Two seconds after getting our drinks I dropped the coffee all over the floor (my own clumsiness 🤦♀️) and the waitress was so lovely about it and they even replaced the coffee for us ❤️
Very quick and pleasant service. Plenty of seating inside and out. Ideal place to get away from the hussle and bussle of city shopping.
Hands down the best hot chocolate I've ever had. The free chocolate sweet on top is a nice touch! Lovely atmosphere, and a nice place to sit during The Winterval Christmas Market. Staff very friendly too. A must visit during your stay in Waterford.
Perfect place to get some dessert. We got an ice cream and a kinder bueno eclair, both was delicious. They also spotted are dog and have him some ice cream on the house. Very recommended.
