Waterford Walls

Waterford Walls is an international street art festival, managed by The Walls Project, that has worked with some of the largest and most well known national and international names in Street Art to transform Waterford into Ireland’s largest and most accessible outdoor gallery. Our mission is simple-to use arts as a medium for rejuvenating and inspiring urban space.
OPERATIONAL

Founded in 2015, Waterford Walls has created a collection of large-scale urban artworks across Waterford City thus transforming some of the lesser visited areas into striking examples of creativity and beauty. Now entering its sixth year, Waterford Walls has built and maintained a collection of work that rivals that of any other location in the world, showcasing the very best of Irish and International talent.

  • Delighted we got Street Art Ink to do the mural at the front of our school. They did a stellar job and and the students and staff love what they have done. They also ran a workshop for us and gave a talk which the students really enjoyed.

  • Street Art Ink have given creative and diverse workshops in the school where I teach. The works combine student work with community and artists practice. The students learned new skills and techniques. They also got unique and new local knowledge from working with locals. These kind of opportunities are great for inspiring young art enthusiasts. It gives them a little insight into Art outside of the classroom. Thank you

  • Fantastic experience working with Street Art Ink. A very professional team that provided a holistic experience for the students at Ardscoil Na Mara. From the beautiful mural now adorning the entrance to the school, to the workshop providing by MJ and the talk provided by Edel, the whole experience was excellent.

  • I'm delighted to see all of Edel's hard work showcased in such a well thought out, colourful and engaging book, Not Just Another Brick in the Wall. Thurles Municipal District have worked with Edel and Street Art Ink on a number of projects and we hope to work on many more.
