Winterval lights up Cathedral Square

It’s that time of year when the evenings are getting darker, and it’s oh so quiet…that is unless you show up at Cathedral Square from 5pm onwards to catch the amazing festive light show that is Winterval Illuminates!

Winterval puts on a stunning light show each year and this year is no different.

Show starts at 5pm onwards, right up to last show at 8pm. Great way to start your evening and then take in the Christmas markets afterward. All very festive.

Browse the stalls

Stroll around the stalls, pick up a gift for whoever has made your ‘nice’ list this Christmas and enjoy a hot chocolate, or mulled wine (if you’re old enough). Lots of nice decorations, local craft items and food to choose from.
