Romantic places to eat this Valentines Day

Turth be told, there really are so many lovely places to have a romantic bite to eat in around Waterford city and county. Below, we’re listing some of our favourites.

In no particular order first up is La Bohème. Chef Eric Théze and his team will serve up some top-class French food in very cozy surroundings.

Fine dining for two

French food made with passion. Try their Market or Early Bird menus.

Next up, is Momo Restaurant one of the town’s go-to places for great food and friendly staff. You’ll be spoilt for choice and plenty of sharing plates too. Definitely a great place for intimate conversation and some nice wine too.

Delicious sharing plates

Fresh, locally sourced food. Delicious.

If it’s something a bit different you’re after, The Parlour Vintage Tea Rooms are doing their “Galentines” special of any pizza at The Parlour followed by a dashing pink gin in Tom Mahers for only 16 euro. From now until February 14th. Like the sound of that already!

Pizza and Pink Gin for the ladies

Yummy pizza in vintage surroundings at The Parlour. Old meets new at Tom Maher’s pub.

Moving on to the coastal town of Dungarvan where fine food and fare can found at 360 Cookhouse, a really lovely spot to celebrate all things romantic. Great menus for fuss pots, vegetarians and all non-fussy eaters.

Check out the lay of the land

You’ll definitely be spoilt for choice in Dungarvan. Meat, fish, veggie options – you choose.

Another gem is Mezze in Tramore if it’s a romantic lunch you’re after because you fancy a few cuddles at home instead. Lebanese food at it’s best with plenty of veggie options too.

Lebanese all the way!

Great hummus, sharing plates and that’s just for starters.

Spice it up a bit at Cafe Goa

Lots of hot and not too hot dishes to share in a cosy setting. Samosas, kormas and chef specials on the menu.
