Rock the blues with Rob Strong

Rob Strong and his band are bringing their show to The Theatre Royal on August 29th. A must for blues and rock lovers.

With the re-opening of the box-office at the Theatre Royal on July 28th, after many months of closure during the pandemic. Waterford.FYI would like to say a very big WELCOME BACK – you’ve been sorely missed!

Blues and soul-funk

On Saturday, 29th August, Derry legend, Rob Strong and his band will perform at The Theatre Royal. Rob has always been famous for his sensational singing voice and has been on the road for 55 years now. In the 1960s he was a key member of well-known showband The Plattermen who quickly gained a reputation as one of the best showbands in the whole of Ireland. His son, Andrew Strong starred and performed in The Commitments in 1991 and was a big hit.
