Waterford Plunkett Station Reviews

Reviews

  • Plunkett Station is a nice place. It has adequate parking facilities and is located close to the bridge linking Ferrybank to Waterford city.

  • Why is this place named after Joseph Plunkett? Sure he wan't from the parish! Aren't the stations all named after the Rising lads who were locals of the area that they're in? Like wasn't Patrick Pearse baptised in the church beside Pearse station? I don't know. I think that the station is fine, there are no pigeons and a lovely piano. The young wan loves doing a few tunes.

  • The station has a generally poor service and recently the Limerick Junction service has been suspended. Mant destinations are better by bus
