Very nice, small, little museum with lots of interesting things to see and read also free admission
Volunteer run museum, open Monday to Friday. Nicely laid out exhibition, free admission. This museum's strong point is the local knowledge and access to local historians it affords. They are happy to help with genealogical queries. If they haven't an answer, they'll point you in the direction of someone who does.
Many exhibits that show important parts of the history of the area, and also is free. Well worth popping in if you're in Dungarvan.
Very nice time line layout
If you are interested in local history this is the museum for you. Of particular interest to people whose ancestors emigrated from West Waterford. The friendly, knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help with genealogical queries.
