Such a wonderful and charming space full of warmth! The castle is just so beautifully upheld and decorated. Everyone is very kind and helpful! Even if you’re not at the castle, the cabins are also wonderfully sized and just gorgeous. Cannot recommend enough!

We loved our Valentines stay at Waterford castle! We had afternoon tea first which was really nice the room it was served in was gorgeous,there was a wedding on the same day but it was very well organised and you wouldn’t really know,it didn’t effect our stay at all! As it was a small event The room was kind of small but thats fine as the decor was timeless and the bathroom was very large,loved the floral sink and toilet! Only think we did not like was the bath/shower it was too difficult to get in and out and turn on. We arrived down for dinner at the bar around 6:30 and they were almost done serving bar food for the evening but they were able to accommodate us and put in an order.We both got burgers which were delicious! The bar manager who is an award winning mixologist made us some drinks,they don’t have a menu as you can ask for any type of drink you like and he will make it for you! Which is really nice,we were so surprised at how lovely the cocktails were,some of the best we’ve ever had! Breakfast was served in the conservatory which was really pretty but the food itself was average my pancakes were rubbery and had a weird taste like they had been cooked on the same pan as the fried food. An amazing stay,will definitely be back for more cocktails and try the restaurant next!

Went for a family meal. Great friendly greeting on arrival and service throughout. The food from start to finish was just fantastic for kids and adults alike. Amazing attention to detail and every mouthful was so flavoursome. Special mention to the waiting staff who engaged so easily and attentively, especially with the kids

I stayed at the Waterford Castle at the end of May 2023 and it was amazing! The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was indescribable. It was so charming we couldn't believe our luck we got to stay here. Definitely a must when going to Ireland. I hope to one day return.
