Great place, situated on a small cove in the village of Dunmore East. Excellent food and of course, drink. Great views across to Hook Head from the outside tables and sea view rooms. Worth walking up through the village and down to the harbour or along the cliff walk, which has been partially restored for an easier walk. Only marked the rooms down slightly as the soundproofing isn't great between the rooms or from the corridor but still very much worth the stay!!

We had an great stay at The Strand Inn in Dunmore! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the coastline. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The option to have our dog with us at all areas made our stay even more enjoyable! The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!

We have just returned from 2 magical days spent at the Strand. Weather was beautiful. Venue was stunning. Hotel bright clean and very cheerfully decorated. We swam every day and enjoyed the beautiful woods and cliff walks around the town. Room had a balcony where we lay in the sunshine both afternoons. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

We just came to eat something small so we can’t review the rooms. The location is brilliant and the food yummy and quick. If you are not too hungry go for the soup of the day and the beef burger from the kids menu :) large enough even for an adult! Happy to come back any time
