The Hub

Atmosphere in this place was quality. On entering last night the bouncer was very friendly & welcoming. Great pub vibe in here with great live music. Some of the bar staff were actually really rude (especially the males behind the bar last night).

I found the prices very reasonable and the staff very friendly. There is an outside smoking area but it is worth bearing in mind that it closes before the pub itself. In my case, this designated smoking area closed at 11:00pm, whereas the pub closed at 11:30pm. I got served immediately which was excellent considering most Waterford City Centre pubs were very crowded at the time.

I called in to try source a random thing for Christmas and the lady behind the bar, Gail, was so nice. Really helpful and went above and beyond to try help me. So nice to meet a truly kind and helpful person. Thank you

Probably my own favourite of all of the Apple Market watering holes. The vibe and atmosphere is cosy, comfortable and welcoming. You can spend hours looking at and reading all of the wall art and posters. Friendly.

Great traditional pub! Good decor and atmosphere. If they're not going to serve their own food it would be nice to be able to bring or order from somewhere else, sadly that's not the case. Still a great place for a pint and to watch a match.
