I was so surprised after entering this bookstore for the first time. From outside looked like any other irish building... but, man, inside it is a hidden gem of Waterford's city. Well designed with cool colours with every book you could think of. With few floors, you can spend some time there. Also, if you're not into books... don't worry. Just enter for a great food, cake, coffee or simply a juice. Contemplate and give your mind a little relax time.

Had a wonderful time at The Book Centre in Waterford with my little granddaughter! We loved exploring the fantastic book selection and enjoying a cozy break in the lovely cafeteria. A perfect place to spark curiosity and create special memories. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable that this is not more broadly known: layer upon layer of books and stationary and shelves and all, each leading to another in a cascade of brass railing and polished wood. Two visits in one day is not enough. Do yourself a favor, give yourself a few hours to browse!

I loved this bookshop, as well as selling books of all genres, you can have a coffee or tea here. On the top floor they have stationery and fine arts. A lovely light 😍

An utterly fantastic local bookshop with intimate yet spacious decor, a variety of different books available from Irish to international ones, a good selection of music to enjoy which are very relaxing to hear, great, helpful staff and good pricing on most books, if you want to immerse yourself into the literary world in Waterford, this is the place to do it!
