  • First time in a restaurant other than as a hotel resident in almost 12 months. Lovely meal and great service. Nice to see a buzz return too.

  • We had the mussels and crab creme brûlée for starters. We were both impressed with them and both were delicious. However we started to notice the service was not so attentive when my partner couldn’t get the servers attention to ask for a bowl for the mussel shells. My partner then had the halibut special for mains and she really enjoyed it. Well cooked, lovely sauce and the crispy kale was a nice touch. I ordered the rib eye steak which was an additional €8. It was poorly cooked and for me was inedible. I left half of it on the plate which is unlike me. The head waiter noticed I hadn’t eaten it, apologised and took the additional charge off. Overall it's a nice restaurant but maybe known for its seafood, not its steak. So if you go, please order the seafood! You’ll enjoy it.

  • Great to have indoor dining back, the Tannery didn't disappoint ... Delicious meal and fantastic wine, we are already plotting our next visit. Thanks Paul, Daniel and the rest of the team for a wonderful evening!

  • Truly excellent restaurant and B&B. Food was amazing, room was lovely. Overall great for a enjoyable treat night.
