Really great experience from start to finish. We got here in the nick of time for breakfast (do try get there well before 11.45 if you’re looking for brekkie) Service was super fast and the food was just delicious, a straight forward, good quality breakfast! The staff were super attentive and kind. Will definitely be back again, the lunch menu looked fantastic!

Lovely setting. Food is served hot and quick. However the steak pie was mince meat where I would have expected chunks. The wrap was lovely. Our service was professional and polite. However the serving of pie with fingers surprised me. The owner was very professional in getting people in and out.

The food was grand and the portions were big, you won't leave here hungry. Price of food was also cheap coming in at around €12 or €13 per main course. It's hard to fault for what it is, an upmarket Cafe essentially but this is not fine dining. This is packets of salt in dispensers, the same for ketchup and vinegar. It's a throwback to an old fashioned Irish big feed of potatoes and meat and nothing wrong with it. It stands out in the town alone as this kind of establishment and does very well. I would go back. Stick to water for drink with your food, four cans of Coke and 7up added €11.40 to cost which is a a bit steep for something that can be bought for less than a euro in any kind of bulk.
