A Waterford institution. Great pints and great staff. Could possibly be my favourite pub, up there with the greats. Order your drinks, sit down with your friends and while away the hours, then wonder if it would be so bad if ye did this every week for the rest of your days. You cannot put a price on comfort but Downes's is 'the' easy pub you need to experience.

It's just such a great place to enjoy time with family and friends. The character and atmosphere of Downes is renowned in Waterford. Many good night's to remember and still to be had.
