Glenshelane Woods

Easy does it! Glenshelane Woods has four different marked trails but if you’re looking for a walk suitable for all ages, then The Blue Trail is the one to do. It takes 45 mins and is a nice, looped flat walk by the river and through the woods. Picturesque and magical.

Glenshelane Woods Reviews

  • The journey through this wood is a bit steep, which might pose a challenge for some. Families with small children should note that it's not the most buggy-friendly path. However, once inside, you'll be greeted by a charming forest adorned with a wood bridge halfway through. Lots of parking space is available, making it convenient for visitors.

  • Really nice walk, very peaceful. Ample parking too. It is a pity about all of the dog poo though. Dog owners, please cleanup after your dog
