A Tale of Two Plates... Ordered the Seafood Chowder to start with the Goujons of Haddock as my main. I'll start with the Haddock, it was easily the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish wasn't even recognizable as fish, dry, overcooked, wood like, and the chips were so over fried they weren't edible. However, the Seafood Chowder was wonderful. Very good flavor, and the seafood was not only cooked to perfection, there was easily three times the amount of fish than on my main dish. I'd come back exclusively for the chowder, and never even consider the fish and chips again.

Fantastic bar, I popped in here for something to eat after a recommendation from a local, I ordered the fish tacos and they were amazing… the quality and presentation of the food is outstanding considering this is a bar, super friendly staff, great variety of beers… highly recommended.

Great pub in apple Market area. The food is actually pretty good. Would be nice to have little bit more irish positions in menu like ribs or chicken wings etc but overall good is great and especially desserts. The staff working there is friendly and helpful. In general atmosphere typical to irish pubs and that is great.

Great spot in the heart of Waterford city. Lots of space inside, but still felt pretty intimate. Great vibes (aughties indie coming through the speakers the whole time), awesome bar (some actual local brews on tap!), and good food with some vegetarian options. Food came out quite quickly. Service was very friendly. There was seating outside but not enough so we had to sit inside on such a beautiful day. It all worked out though and everyone enjoyed their lunch and drinks. Highly recommend if in the area and looking for a cool Irish spot to get a bite or just some local drinks.
