I definitely recommend staying at the Fitzwilton Hotel. Reception and staff : We were greeted with smiles and a really great energy. Staff were very helpful and polite. Room : Room was spacious and very clean, bed was comfortable and tidy. The bathroom and shower was amazing and they provided enough towels. (Small suggestion, maybe they could provide drinking water for the rooms). With 24hr room service and a vending machine just outside the elevator all our needs were met. Restaurant & Food : Top tier food, food was fresh and delicious, well prepared. Definitely include the breakfast to your stay as it is well worth the money. All & All a fantastic experience. Small tip: If you do arrive in your own vehicle, make sure to park early as space is limited and if you are just visiting around Waterford city you will not need to use the car as everything is in walking distance.

I organised a small event in this hotel and I cannot recommend it enough. Radost, Colin and all the team work diligently to help your idea come to life. The food was incredible and fresh. The rooms were absolutely perfect and a great size with fantastic showers. The service was the main thing. My event had 70 people at it and the team worked so hard on the night to make sure everything ran smoothly. I'm so happy I chose The Fitzwilton Hotel as my event location because it would not have been the night it was had we gone somewhere else. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. In general all the spaces were ample and welcoming. Furniture could maybe benefit from modernization. We found the breakfast to be really good. In particular the pastries seemed super fresh. Crunchier and tastier than many bakeries.

Excellent room. The service was very good, with the exception of the group dining room. We were with a coach party of just over 30 people. Dinner service was so very slow, and the set menu didn't vary much over the 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent. The food in the bar area was also excellent.
