We had the unexpected pleasure of dining here yesterday evening. We were a group of 8 people. The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the whole experience was made so much more pleasurable by Bill the manager, who also gave us a guided tour of the building & some local history. Would highly recommend and will definitely revisit 😊

We had sunday lunch here and it was very enjoyable. We went in at 1:40pm and there was only 1 other person there. When we left at 2:30, he was still the only person there. So, it was warm, comfortable & without atmosphere. We had fish & chips and it was really tasty. The desert was average. The main course & desert cost approx €25 per person & we felt we got value for money. The overall experience was positive. We couldnt understand why there was practically no customers there.

I had it in my mind to have seafood but went with the surf and turf instead because nothing grabbed me on the seafood menu. The food was absolutely amazing. Best steak I have ever had and I don’t say that lightly. The chips were big and chunky yet crispy at the same time. Prawns were perfectly cooked. The owner was friendly and attentive without being in your face and we had a nice chat with him when paying. I would recommend for a romantic meal. P.S. try the Crews Martini 🤪👌🏻

Went in for lunch today with a group, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very good knowledge of food allergies and intolerance and were very accommodating in this regard providing a wide menu across all courses. Family friendly. The food was very well presented and tasted delicious. Very reasonable. Will definitely be returning soon.

Very enjoyable meals there last night. 4 in the family ate. We had salmon and chicken .. which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Fish pie and chowder went down a treat too. Lovely contemporary and tasteful setting. Well recommend
