A stunning coast line with beautiful walks and history. The locals were so friendly and recommended what we should do next on our travels. We travel the length of the copper coast and each bay was just as lovely as the last. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience and so pleasantly surprised at all the information UNESCO have placed at each landmark. The weather was a bit grim but that didn't stop us so doing just about all the beaches. A bit sad that campers couldn't clean after themselves at Sandy Cove. Their festival tents, litter and fire were all left laying all over the place. A sad state of affairs when you can't leave no trace and have no respect for the wonderful beauty that surrounds you. We picked up the litter as best we could and pushed the burnt tents out of the tide zone so it didn't get caught in the sea. Will definitely be doing this route again.
Best little coffee shop and a gem for cyclists! Place to park the bikes and refill the water bottles. Seating inside and outside for the sunny days! The hosts were so lovely and accommodating to all my food requests. Vegan sausage roll was class. Highly recommend!!
Beautifully restored old church, love the interiors. And the staff is super, super friendly too. The exhibition is small but worth a go if you are in the area, especially that it's free
Beautiful coastline! Several beaches to visit along the way and gorgeous views of the cliffs and sea as you drive along the coast road. Worth taking this drive rather than the main road to Waterford.
