Prob the best fish chips I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly was 12/10 - all the sauces nice too! I got takeout as I was solo and wanted to relax while watching my shows and this was the perfect dinner in my hotel!! I would do anything to have a restaurant near me like this in Canada!!

What can I say? From the second we walked through the door we were greeted by the lovely Mae who had a little glint in her eye at the amount we ordered.. The menu was too good that we couldn't choose. Between the two of us we ordered the Scampi AndChips, the Ling AndChips and the Fish Tacos. We were pleasantly surprised to see some nice stools and a counter to eat in and even happier to see they did glasses of wine with your meal!! Honestly, from start to finish you couldn't have wished for a better meal. There were only a few chips remaining when we had finished. The quality of the fish is unparalleled, extremely fresh and flaky and cooked to perfection. The scampi was the standout to me while my partner loved the ling. Mae made us feel so at home and we had great chats with her and the chef! This is an absolute MUST if you visit Dungarvan. Don't miss it! The price point was fantastic as well. Literally could not fault it. Thank you so much Mae and the team. We will 100% be back.

Absolutely delicious food! I had heard amazing things about this place and it did not disappoint. Fish was incredible, flaky and tasty. Chips were delicious. Not a massive portion but so much fish it was the perfect amount. Nicest fish and chips I ever had and will be back soon. Ps they are really friendly and helpful! Thanks for the lovely chat

Beautiful fish - Ling goujons and nice chips served with minty mushy peas and tartar sauce. It was also handy to sit inside on stools, as Dungarvan was cool and cloudy today.

Exceptional! We were unwelcomed at The Moorings and we were so glad we were as we went next door and discovered heaven- delicious fresh fish, a warm welcome and where on earth would you get a vase of Solomon’s Seal cut flowers in a fish and chip shop?! More of a takeaway but small bar to eat at. Also great wines A gem of a spot Well done everyone!
