Activate Waterford

We visited the lasertag part of the venue during our trip. The arena is equipped with the latest Laserforce vests (Gen8), base targets and beacons. The prices are fair and the staff were very friendly.

The men’s toilets in the soft play area need some attention. I was there with my child on the 8/03/24 around midday. Once I entered the toilets I was greeted by darkness, as the lights were not switched on at the switch outside. I had to use my phone light to leave in order to search for the switch on the wall outside. Having switched on the lights, I went into the one cubicle available. There is no way to lock the door as the lock has been removed and there is no bolt. Also there is no handle on the door to catch and pull open (see photo) even though it says pull on the door. I had to sit on the toilet while keeping the door closed with my foot pressed against it. The place is pretty decent other than that.

Our u13s had the pleasure of visiting Activate. Had a great time and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Kudos to their setup.

We went for bowling on a Monday late afternoon it was very quiet which I like Just fews suggestions: it would be nice that the score tablet could spin and have a little table closer to the sits. Good for kids as they have light wait bowling bowls and the assist guide ramp and the gutter option too Pins were a bit slow to be put back up but that's ok if you have a small party
