1. Downes Pub

Great pints in a relaxed lounge setting and spot on staff. Try their own No.9 whiskey brand.

2. Uisce Beatha

Traditional pub with craft beer on tap. A hit with the locals.

3. Tully’s Bar

Popular with music lovers and those who like a good selection of craft beers and a fine pint of Guinness.

4. Thomas Maher

Once a men-only pub, there’s a lot to be said for merging tradition with modern times at the historical Tom Mahers pub. Great place for a whiskey mac and a lively chat.

5. J & K Walsh

This charming pub captures the old world charm of the local grocery store of times past. A great little spot for an intimate chat and a decent choice of wine and beer.

6. Geoffs Cafe Bar

Have a pint in one of Waterford’s finest establishments. Cool, friendly staff, great tunes overhead and fine food and drinks.

This recently refurbished bar is a great spot to have a drink towards the end of the night. Live musicians up at the back and late opening, who could say no to that?!

8. Davy Macs

Gin-tastic! THE place to stop off for a whole plethora of G&T’s on the menu.

9. Grady’s Yard

Serving yellow-belly beer and lots of international beers, Grady’s Yard is definitely a good place to go with a bunch of friends for Xmas drinks. Serves good food too.

10. Phil Grimes

Another great Waterford establishment to stop by for a tipple, a damn good pint or try some Japanese Kirin Ichiban beer. Pool table at back too.

Good for Guinness and catching some rugby on big screen TV. Plenty of space and serves bar food too.

Good ‘aul Jordan’s Bar where you can drink and be merry amongst friends in a cosy, relaxed pub setting. Can’t beat it, a great place to get comfy at the end of a long Christmas pub crawl!
