Much ado about SOMETHING!

Waterford.FYI would like to say a big WELCOME BACK to all the cafes and restaurants that have had to shut their doors – until TODAY. Great news for all you social butterflies and gourmet coffee drinkers.

Walking around Waterford today, you couldn’t but notice the atmosphere around: locals have a spring in their step, you’re greeted with the biggest smile from over the counter while you wait for your coffee, not to mention being able to have lunch inside again – it’s almost like old times.

We caught up with just a few of those very happy people today, check out the video.

After over three months of not being able to go into one of Waterford’s many cafes, June 29th couldn’t have come quick enough for most of us. So if you are out and about, do stop for a coffee in whichever cafe you enjoy because from our experience, cafe owners are only too delighted to see you inside.

Wake up and smell the coffee

Do remember that these past few months have been very tough on most cafes. Now it’s time to step back inside and do your bit to support local, independent cafes. Help our cafes and restaurants get back on their feet – it’s a win, win 🙂
